Veneered MDF Crown Cut Oak is created by bonding a thin veneer of the hardwood to standard MDF. The result is a similar quality alternative to veneered Plywood, enhanced by the uniform colour and straight grain of Oak. A cleaner, more decorative option for a cut to size wooden sheeting with a wide use in woodwork and construction applications.
Oak veneered MDF is immensely versatile and has a multitude of uses, furniture, wardrobe doors, cabinet making, bookshelves to name but a few. Supplied unfinished it can be oiled, waxed or varnished. It can also be stained to darken it, just as if it was a piece of solid Oak. The sturdy and stable MDF core not only keeps it flat but also takes fixings well and can be edged to hide the MDF core.
